Green Fingers
We went to the garden to plant some beans. John helped us get the soil ready and we each put a seed into the soil before covering them up. We then watered them with water from the water butt (collects rain water). We are looking forward to seeing what they are like after the Easter Holidays.
We had some seeds left over so we got to plant one each in our own pot and take them home. We brought home a sheet to help us look after them. The plants need water, light and some food from the soil.
We also planted some Ornamental kale in our window box. These seeds were very small, we sprinkled them on the soil and covered them lightly with some soil. We watered them and will have to keep them watered for them to grow. We hope our Ornamental Kale turns out like the plant in the picture.
