Some of the girls relaxing in the secret garden before we started planting

Holly and Faye opening the bag of potatoes that we are planting

We all stood around the bed where we were planting the potatoes

We put the potatoes in a row in the bed leaving enough space between each

We made sure that when we put the potato in the ground it had an eye facing upwards

Laiba placed the potato in the bed with an eye facing upwards

We all took turns planting potatoes

We planted the potatoes along the side of the bed

When we ran out of room along the side, we planted a row down the middle of the bed

Here are the potatoes in a row in the middle of the bed

We covered the planted potatoes with the compost
We will check our potatoes regularly and water them if they need it.
