Before the Easter holidays we went outside to sow our seeds. We got a
window box and we filled it with soil, then we got our Bottle Gourd
seeds (from India) and we planted them in the window box. There was no
instructions on the packet of seeds, so we are keeping them in the
classroom and we are hoping they will grow ;) We hope to transplant them
to our school garden when they get stronger.
We water the seeds in the classroom every day and our caretaker John was
very good to water them for us when we were on our Easter holidays.
Here are some pictures of us planting the Bottle Gourd seeds.
We also went to the school garden and our caretaker John and our teacher
helped us to plant our beetroot seeds. We read the instructions on the
packet carefully and followed the instructions on the packet. John
helped make a hole with a stick and we put our seeds inside the holes,
then we took turns to rake the soil and to gently cover the seeds. We
then watered the seeds. Here are some pictures :)
Then teacher took a class photograph :)
It was great fun! :)
